New boat on the water!
It was a beautiful spring day and time to put a new boat through a few tests. This is a Hydrotek Meranti version of our 15.5x48 that we call a Hindman. It is a bit larger than the original double enders and just a touch smaller than the most traditional Woodies made in the 1950s. With a tapered stem and a very slight flair on frames 8 and 9 this boat is a light weight dry ride that is great on splashy class II rivers and it will handle class III with an experienced rower.
